OKX And Tribeca Festival Launch NFT Pass For 2023

Key Points:

  • The VIP passes were created in collaboration with Tribeca Festival and OKX. They will come with benefits, including privileged access to movie screenings and invitations to exclusive events with the festival’s co-founders, Jane Rosenthal and Robert De Niro. They were created using the Ethereum blockchain.
  • Direct purchases of the NFTs can be made with a credit card through the Tribeca website. Through the OKX NFT marketplace, more seasoned NFT collectors can even pay for the passes in ETH.
The OKX and Tribeca Festival, the second-largest cryptocurrency exchange in the world by trading volume and a pioneer in the Web3 technology ecosystem, unveiled the first-ever Tribeca Festival NFT pass for 2023.

The NFTs, which were created on Ethereum (ETH) and are each a unique work of art that also serves as a VIP pass, are only available during the Tribeca Festival in New York City from June 7 to 18. They provide access to special screenings, parties with Tribeca co-founders Jane Rosenthal and Robert De Niro, and other one-of-a-kind privileges.

The yearly film festival’s entrance into NFTs is signaled by VIP passes. They were created in collaboration with the cryptocurrency exchange OKX.

Direct purchases of the NFTs through the Tribeca website using a credit card are $899. Through the OKX NFT marketplace, more seasoned NFT collectors can even pay for the passes with ETH. The landscapes of Lower Manhattan, where this year’s festival will take place from June 7 to 18, served as inspiration for the design of the NFT artwork.

OKX Chief Marketing Officer Haider Rafique said:

“It’s exciting we’ve partnered with the Tribeca team to introduce a first-of-its-kind NFT pass. This allows festival goers to experience Web3 and ways to build on top of this unique technology. We’re particularly looking to inspire artists to create more on Web3, and we’ll keep our eyes out for individuals who will do more with this concept.”

The OKX Wallet can be used to store the Tribeca Festival NFT pass, which is only accessible through the OKX NFT marketplace. The exclusive presenting relationship between OKX and the Tribeca Festival, which was established last year, is being expanded. The NFT design was created by Tribeca in collaboration with AWA Studios, award-winning comic illustrator Jonathan Bartlett, and Lower Manhattan landscapes, with Tribeca at the center of NYC’s creative community.
