Rarible Enhances Polygon Support With New Marketplace Builder

Key Points:

  • The white-label marketplace construction tool for Polygon-based collections is being expanded by NFT marketplace Rarible.
  • Now that Rarible’s infrastructure is available, creators who mint NFTs on Polygon can freely build their own collection-specific storefronts. Creators can also incorporate tokens offered on other secondary marketplaces by using the platform’s native aggregation function.
  • Other brands have also taken notice and have either relocated altogether or expanded into the sidechain. y00ts, one of Solana’s most important NFT initiatives, declared it would connect to Polygon.
Rarible, a non-fungible token (NFT) marketplace, said on Wednesday that it is expanding its white-label marketplace construction tool for Polygon-based collections.

Now that Rarible‘s infrastructure is available, creators who mint NFTs on Polygon may freely build their own collection-specific shop. Creators can also incorporate tokens offered on other secondary marketplaces by using the platform’s native aggregation function.

The NFT marketplace has launched new features that enable NFT collection producers to create their own free customized marketplaces.

The move coincides with rising interest in the Ethereum sidechain for both NFT and gaming projects following the success of Reddit’s Collectible Avatars. The chain’s collaboration with the social media business was introduced in July. It is similar to the services it already provides for ERC-721 and ERC-1155 NFTs.

Rarible debuted its first marketplace-building application for collections on Ethereum in August 2022. The marketplace on the platform received significant enhancements later in October, including the addition of a new aggregation tool that collects NFT listings from other rival markets. It also created plans for the platform’s decentralized autonomous organization’s governance token, RARI, to be airdropped.

The NFT market on Polygon is seeing a boom. The chain was selected for implementation by the Odyssey program, a Starbucks Rewards Loyalty program members and Starbucks partners. y00ts, a popular NFT collection on Solana, is targeting Polygon as a promising land for it to move to.
