Cryptocurrency market September 16 by cryptonew: Bitcoin price remains above USD 46,000 and USD 46,500. BTC expanded profits above $ 47,000 and even broke the $ 48,000 resistance. At 04:31 UTC, BTC is hovering above $ 48,200.
Also, most of the big altcoins are steadily increasing. ETH is up nearly 8% and even surpassed $ 3,600. XRP broke the $ 1.10 level and climbed above the $ 1.12 resistance. ADA could gain momentum if price closes above $ 2.50.
After a clear breakthrough above $ 46,000, Bitcoin price was able to continue its bullish momentum. BTC broke the USD 47,000 resistance and even climbed above USD 48,000. It is facing sellers near the $ 48,500 level and is currently trying to regain momentum above the $ 48,200 level.
On the flip side, the next major resistance is near the $ 48,500 level, above which the price could test $ 49,200. The first major support could be at $ 47,000, with a possible pullback to $ 46,500 below that.
Ethereum price is outperforming Bitcoin and could rise above the USD 3,500 resistance. ETH even broke through $ 3,550 and rose to over $ 3,600. A close above this level could open the door to a stronger rally.
Cardano (ADA) is consolidating near the $ 2.50 mark. The main breakout zone remains near the $ 2.55 mark, above which the price could gain momentum. Otherwise, there is a risk of a move towards USD 2.25.
Litecoin (LTC) is up over 6% and has broken the USD 190 resistance. If the bulls succeed, the price can steadily rise towards the $ 200 mark. On the flip side, the price could stay stable near the $ 180 mark.
Dogecoin (DOGE) is still facing major resistance near the $ 0.250 level. A closing price above $ 0.250 is a must for a steady increase. If so, the price could break even below $ 0.265. The next major resistance is at $ 0.280.
The XRP price is rising and can settle above the USD 1.10 level. The key resistance remains near $ 1.12. A closing price above $ 1.12 can push the price to $ 1.20. Conversely, a decline to the USD 1.05 level is possible.
Many altcoins are up more than 8%, including ZEN, REN, SUSHI, AVAX, WAVES, CRV, TEL, CELO, REV, RUNE and SNX. Of these, ZEN rebounded over 28%, breaking the $ 105 mark.
Overall, Bitcoin price above $ 47,000 is showing positive signs. BTC could correct downward in the short term, but the decline could be limited below $ 46,500 and $ 46,000.
