Bitcoin Witnesses Massive Move Of Over 17,000 BTC As 130 Million XRP Shifted To Bitso

Crypto whales suddenly sell hundreds of millions of dollars worth of significant crypto assets, including Bitcoin (BTC), Polygon (MATIC), and XRP.

According to new data from whale-watching company Whale Alert, wealthy crypto investors are transferring large amounts of the king cryptocurrency to and from various wallets and crypto trading platforms.

One wealthy individual transferred 5,502 BTC worth $124,830,222 from one unknown wallet to another, while another transferred 5,000 BTC worth $113,427,139 from one unknown wallet to another.

Other big transactions on Whale Alert’s radar include the top crypto asset by market cap:

• 5,000 BTC worth $113,427,139 was transferred from an unknown wallet to a different unknown wallet.
• 902 BTC worth $20,549,808 transferred from the crypto exchange Coinbase to an unknown wallet.
• 1,300 BTC worth $29,859,483 transferred from an unknown wallet to the crypto exchange Coinbase.

Whale Alert also highlights whale activity based on MATIC, a layer-2 scaling solution, and XRP, the crypto asset used to power Ripple Labs’ payments network.

The whale-surveying platform discovers that wealthy investors transferred 20,000,000 MATIC worth $26,589,171 from one unknown wallet to another, as well as 18,000,000 MATIC worth $23,800,532 from another unknown wallet to another.

Moving on to XRP, Whale Alert highlights two transactions. The first involves a crypto whale transferring 34,000,000 XRP worth $13,586,728 from an undisclosed wallet to the cryptocurrency exchange Bitstamp.

The second transaction included a wealthy trader transferring 25,400,000 XRP worth $10,068,153 from the crypto exchange Bitso to an unknown wallet.

Later today, Whale Alert reported more than 100,000,000 XRP worth nearly $40 million was transferred from an unknown wallet to Bitso via three additional transactions.
