Hacker attacks MISO from SushiSwap again

It is known that the hacker smuggled malicious code into the user interface of the MISO platform using the GH AristoK3 processor.

Jay Peg’s Auto Mart is the only auction project to date that has been hacked and exploited. In addition, the team has not updated any other affected names. It appears that the hacker entered his wallet address and replaced the real wallet when the auction was created. After the problem was discovered, all other projects were patched with the vulnerability in the smart contract.

Delong also said the sushi team is asking the FTX exchange and Binance to release the hackers’ information. However, this request has now been rejected for security reasons. As a warning, Delong believes that an attack using this approach could also be used in other projects.

“The attackers used this trick at Yearn Finance and gained access to many other projects. I recommend that you test your own user interface in order to identify exploits early on, ”said Delong.

At the moment the team has not updated any further information, just saying that Sushi Page is working with lawyers to bring the case to the FBI for investigation.

This is not the first time MISO has encountered this problem. Not so long ago how Bitcoin magazine reported that while reading the smart contract code of the BitDAO sale, security researcher for venture capital firm Paradigm, samczsun, discovered a vulnerability in SushiSwap’s MISO launchpad platform.

By sharing, this white hat hacker realized that if the vulnerability were exploited, all crypto assets in the token auction contract would be wiped out. Fortunately, samczsun and his colleagues and the CTO of SushiSwap decided to patch it. This dedication helped SushiSwap avoid a possible loss of up to 109,000 ETH.

But it doesn’t seem so lucky this time …
