Big players make significant moves in the crypto market – Andrew Kang’s $ARB purchase and massive $SHIB holdings worth $288.1M

A series of significant transactions have been reported in the cryptocurrency market recently. Lookonchain, a blockchain analytics platform, reported that Andrew Kang bought $795,120 worth of $ARB with $1 million in USDC at a price of $1.26 after tweeting about $ARB.

Meanwhile, a newly created address received a total of 11.76 million $ARB ($14.82 million) from Binance and Gate.io in the past 24 hours. It is worth noting that this address currently only holds $ARB.

In another transaction, Whale “0x8033” transferred 75,311 $ETH ($144 million) to Bitfinex Hot Wallet 2 hours ago. The whale received 76,212 $ETH from Bitfinex on Jan 5, 2019, when the price was $156, and deposited 900 $ETH into Tornado Cash on Dec 6, 2020.

Spot On Chain reported that Whale 0x2eFB50 moved 213 billion $SHIB to OKX and Coinbase at $0.0000112 12 hours ago.

It also transferred 230 billion $SHIB to mid-wallet 0x66E092 to clear out 17.9 billion $SHIB to Binance and 15 billion $SHIB to Coinbase, with an average sell price of $0.0000114. The total outflow to centralized exchanges (CEX) is 245.9 billion $SHIB, which is approximately $2.76 million.

Whale 0x2eFB50 is the funding wallet of gigantic $SHIB whale 0x73AF3b. Their current holdings of $SHIB are 4,557 billion $SHIB ($52.1 million) in wallet 0x2eFB50 and 20,719 $SHIB ($236 million) in wallet 0x73AF3b. The total holdings of $SHIB for these two wallets are 25,276 billion $SHIB, which is approximately $288.1 million.
