Burger King UK’s Cryptic Tweet Sparks DOGE Bull Run!

Key Points:

  • Burger King’s cryptic tweet catches the attention of the Dogecoin community, sparking discussion about the fast food chain’s involvement in the cryptocurrency market.
  • Ralph Lauren announces it will accept crypto payments, including Dogecoin, at its new Miami store through BitPay.
  • Users express enthusiasm for Burger King to accept Dogecoin, while others express disappointment after McDonald’s seemingly backs away from a similar offer made by Elon Musk.
Burger King UK caused a stir in the cryptocurrency community with a tweet that left many users wondering what the fast food giant meant.

The tweet read, “brb I’m making BiteCoin.” While the message was cryptic, it was enough to get the attention of the Dogecoin community, which had noticed previous mentions of “doge” in Burger King’s tweets.

According to reports, Burger King’s U.K. restaurant had tweeted, “Trying to convince my manager to let me have an office doge,” in response to a tweet from a crypto user who had said, “We need doge.” This unusual request elicited comments from members of the Dogecoin community, with some expressing disappointment due to the “Grimacecoin” experience. It is worth noting that last year, Tesla CEO, Elon Musk, tweeted that he would eat a Happy Meal on TV if McDonald’s started accepting Dogecoin as a form of payment. McDonald’s responded by stating that it would accept Dogecoin if Tesla agreed to accept “Grimacecoin.”

While some users expressed disappointment, others urged Burger King to accept Dogecoin. One user went as far as saying that Burger King had created an imaginary coin out of thin air.

In other crypto news, Ralph Lauren announced that it would be accepting cryptocurrency payments in its new Miami store through BitPay, which supports a wide range of cryptocurrencies, including Dogecoin. This move was seen by many as a major step forward for the adoption of cryptocurrencies in mainstream retail.
