Staking Ethereum: Over 19M ETH Staked With $1,964 Average Price

Key Points:

  • Over 19.19M $ETH is staked on the Beacon Chain with an average price of $1,964.
  • Withdrawals can be made in partial or full amounts, with partial withdrawals processed faster.
The Ethereum blockchain has seen significant activity following the Shanghai upgrade, with a total of 111,378 $ETH ($216.3M) being withdrawn.

According to Lookonchain, this withdrawal activity has been closely monitored by investors and enthusiasts alike, with LidoFinance accounting for a significant portion of the total.

Currently, over 19.19M $ETH is staked on the Beacon Chain, with the average price of $ETH staked being $1,964. Since staking went live, 1M $ETH rewards have been generated, further incentivizing investors to stake their $ETH.

Withdrawals on the Ethereum blockchain can be made in partial or full amounts, depending on the user’s preference. Balances in excess of 32 ETH can be withdrawn to an Ethereum address, while the remaining balance can continue to be used as a validator on the Beacon Chain. Partial withdrawals are typically processed much faster than full withdrawals, with only 3.5% of validators currently waiting for a full withdrawal.

It is important to note that there are limitations on the number of withdrawals that can be processed in a single block. A maximum of 16 withdrawals can be processed per block, with 115,200 validator withdrawals being processed per day. However, despite these limitations, processing withdrawals from 567,201 validators took five days.

To ensure a smooth withdrawal experience, users must provide a 0x01 withdrawal certificate and a valid withdrawal address. This information can be viewed on the Ethereum browser, Token Unlock, and Nansen, making it easy for users to track the latest withdrawal progress of $ETH on the Ethereum blockchain.

Overall, the Ethereum blockchain continues to see significant activity, with investors and enthusiasts keenly monitoring the withdrawal process. With the current state of the blockchain, investors can expect to see continued growth and development in the months and years to come.
