Saga is a new phone that aims to provide a unique experience for its users. Alongside the device, Saga is also launching the Saga genesis token, a device-bound NFT that users will receive upon setting up their phone and the Solana dApp Store.
The Saga genesis token is non-transferable and non-burnable by the user. It is also unique and can only be issued once per device. The token acts as a key to unlocking exclusive content and offers for Saga users.
As part of the welcome experience for first-time Saga users, Solana Mobile is providing a Welcome Pack that includes 20 USDC, 0.01 SOL to cover the user’s first transactions on Solana, and an opportunity to mint a limited-edition Claynosaurz NFT from the exclusive “Claynosaurz: The Call of Saga” collection.
Additionally, various dApps listed on the Solana dApp Store offer Saga user-only benefits and rewards based on ownership of the Saga genesis token.
Saga has partnered with various apps and services to offer rewards to its users. Magic Eden is offering a Magic Box of 25 USDC, to be used on Magic Eden, for the first 5,000 users.
Audius is providing exclusive music for Saga users. Dialect offers Saga-only sticker packs, while Genopets provides early access and a free toy for Saga users. Honeyland GameFi is offering 50 HXD and an automatic Beemium upgrade (starting end of April), and Helium Mobile is offering one month of free access to its service (starting in June 2023 for US-based users).
