Alibaba’s AliExpress Secretly Cuts New NFT Partnership

Key Points:

  • AliExpress, Alibaba Group’s well-known worldwide online shopping platform, does not seem to be engaging in the realm of NFTs in partnership with the NFT initiative The Moment3!.
  • The cooperation message was eventually removed from the AliExpress Twitter stream, leaving just Moment’s tweet as a reference.
AliExpress, Alibaba’s cross-border e-commerce platform, has deleted the previous tweet that it will jointly launch NFT with The Moment3!, but The Moment3! has not deleted this tweet yet.

It was discovered that The Moment3! official Twitter account was created on June 6, and other official channels have not yet introduced more. However, the collaborative tweet at the time did not include any links. At present, AliExpress has not made any explanation for this. Just a few hundred people follow the Twitter account. The project does not seem to have an official website or any information on its own Medium page.

AliExpress previously announced cooperation with The Moment3! to issue NFTs. On June 25, the NFTs will go on sale, with a total quantity of 5555 NFTs. This is AliExpress’ second venture into the cryptocurrency business after its May 4 connection with Shopping.io. Users may now use the platform to make purchases on major e-commerce sites utilizing different cryptocurrencies.

The official Twitter page of The Moment3! has tweeted:

“We’re thrilled to announce that The Moment3! is joining forces with AliExpress for Shopping Moment theme! AliExpress, an international marketplace under Alibaba International Digital Commerce Group. This collaboration marks the most monumental step for The Moment3!”
