Machi Big Brother, also known as Jeffrey Huang, has recently claimed that he was framed by ZachXBT for misappropriating 22,000 ETH. After half a year of investigating Zach’s true identity, Huang was unable to resolve the issue peacefully and decided to sue Zach on the last day of the litigation period. Huang also claims to have suffered a large loss on Blur token.

In an interview with WaTell, Huang explained the reasons behind his decision to sue ZachXBT. He stated that Formosa Financial, not him, managed treasury assets at the time of the deficit and that it was the decision-making mistakes of the two individuals in charge of the assets that caused the deficit. Huang felt framed by ZachXBT’s false accusations, leading him to pursue legal action.

Coincu previously reported that Huang had filed a lawsuit against ZachXBT for defamation, alleging that ZachXBT’s false accusations have caused reputational and monetary harm to Huang. The lawsuit requests damages and reimbursement for legal fees.

While the famed blockchain sleuth prepares to face defamation charges, the crypto community and big corporations have given over $1 million in different stablecoins and tokens to ZachXBT.

Hundreds of wallets sent ZachXBT USD Coin (USDC), Tether (USDT), Dai (DAI), and meme coins like JESUS and PEPE, according to data from the on-chain analytics platform Nansen. Binance, CertiK, and Tron founder Justin Sun are among those who have backed the project. The majority of these payments were received on the Ethereum blockchain, with minor amounts supplied from tokens based on Arbitrum, BNB Chain, Optimist, Polygon, and Fantom.
