SPACE ID Airdrop Season 2 Successful, Over 22.48M $ID Distributed

According to the official Twitter, the SPACE ID decentralized identity protocol announced that the SPACE ID Season 2 Journey (Part 2) has ended, and around 530,000 addresses have participated in the event.

The second season airdrop application page will be open from June 29 to July 29, and 22,482,583 $ID will be allocated. Users can check their eligibility as well as their claimable amount. Any unclaimed tokens after this period will be returned to the airdrop team for future reward use.

Previously, Space ID paid an airdrop to users who bought and held the project’s domain name. After that, the project also had the Voyage Season 2 event.

Previously, on June 19, its DAO, the project’s decentralized governance organization, implemented the IDP3 proposal “Buy and burn ID tokens”. Accordingly, the project will use 50% of the revenue within 3 months, from March 23 to June 23, to buy and burn ID tokens.

The platform’s revenue includes sources from registration fees, domain name renewals, and transaction fees on the Space ID marketplace. 50% of this revenue will be used to buy ID tokens directly on the decentralized exchange. If approved, this project will likely use about $1 million to buy back ID tokens.

Space ID is a domain name registration platform (Domain Name Service) on the BNB Chain system. Currently, this is the pioneer domain name project on the BNB system.

Typically, a wallet address is a long string of alphanumeric characters. This makes it difficult for users to remember the exact wallet address. With Space ID, complex wallet addresses will be converted into simpler, easier to remember addresses according to the “XXXXX.bnb” structure.

Besides, Space ID also aims to provide users with a single identity for all networks. Specifically with Space ID, users can connect their identities on blockchain networks with each other. Space ID will also allow users to connect Twitter, Email, and Github accounts to the platform.
