What Does Digital Mean?

Digital refers to electronic technology that processes and stores data in two states: positive and non-positive. The positive state is represented by the number 1, while the non-positive state is represented by the number 0. This data is transmitted or stored using digital technology and is expressed as a sequence of 1s and 0s.

The term “digital” is derived from the Latin words “digit” and “digits,” which mean “finger.” This is because fingers are often used for counting.
