The cryptocurrency exchange Crypto.com has announced that it will become one of the official sponsors of the F1 racing series.
In its June 29 press release, the F1 Organizing Committee said that Crypto.com will be a global partner for Sprint 2021, scheduled to launch on July 17th. Crypto.com is known to sponsor $ 100 million for the largest racing tournament in the world and will become an accompanying partner for the release of NFTs collections in the near future.
“We will rely heavily on the expertise of Crypto.com as we explore the world of crypto, an area that interests us very much. This is the first time we’ve given our fans the chance to experience the excitement of this world. ”- Ben Pincus, Director of Commercial Partnerships, shared.
F1 organizers also announced that drivers could win a possible new crypto-related award. Details will be announced before the Grand Prix event in Belgium on August 29th.
Previously, Crypto.com also announced a partnership with Aston Martin, an F1 racing team, in March 2021. Accordingly, the logo of this cryptocurrency exchange with Aston Martin will appear at F1 racing events.
Kris Marszalek, CEO of Crypto.com, said at the time they would continue to try to use this partnership to promote other crypto-related products.
