Aptos Foundation and Alibaba Cloud Partner to Boost Japan's Web3 Ecosystem

The collaboration of Aptos Foundation and Alibaba Cloud marks the launch of Alcove, the first co-branded Move developer community in Asia, aimed at fostering innovation and expanding the influence of the Move smart contract programming language.
Alcove’s mission is to amplify the impact of Move among talented developers, offering security, speed, and scalability crucial for widespread adoption in the Asia-Pacific region.
To support this initiative, the Aptos Foundation will leverage Alibaba Cloud’s technology to host hackathons and educational events. These activities are designed to nurture emerging Web3 talents within the Alcove Japan community and accelerate the development of Japan’s on-chain ecosystem.
Aptos is currently strengthening collaboration with partners to advance its Web3 ecosystem. NBCUniversal and Aptos Labs are collaborating to use Web3 and blockchain technologies to improve gameplay, fan loyalty, and engagement. To share with the company through Q3 of 2024, NBCUniversal and Aptos must collaborate to deliver blockchain applications to a variety of media and entertainment assets.
Japan, known for its advanced regulatory framework and tech-savvy populace, is poised to lead in advocating the benefits of Web3 and digital assets globally.
As part of its commitment to advancing on-chain development, Aptos Foundation will also kick off a series of Alcove initiatives. The inaugural event will be a Move developer meetup co-hosted with OKCoin Japan and Alibaba Cloud.
