Lumiterra Review: The MMORPG Just Joined Ronin

Lumiterra is an MMORPG developed on the Arbitrum chain but moved over to Ronin. Their game has seen huge success in the Web 2 market, specifically within Hong Kong and China.

What is Lumiterra?

Lumiterra is an MMORPG that has just integrated into the Ronin network, having previously built out a separate app chain in Lumi Layer 3 using Arbitrum Orbit technology.

It features 2D characters in a journey of adventure, fighting, and item crafting to keep themselves alive in the huge world of Lumiterra. The Closed Beta Test offers up to $1 million in rewards for early testers, with even more perks at launch.

Gameplay

This game is set in an open world with so much to do, such as:

  • Multiplayer: a space where one is among many other players;
  • Battle: level up by fighting monsters;
  • Farming: plant crops and hunt;
  • Resource Collection: collect grass, wood, or stone;
  • Crafting: craft weapons and equipment from raw materials.
  • Cross-platform: Play on PC or mobile.

Players will engage in leveling, fight, and tame monsters to help in the exploration of the world, and trade with other gamers. The game has had two beta test versions earlier, while the current Closed Beta Test on Ronin is the third phase. This will give up to $1 million in prizes for the players participating. Rewards will include items such as RON tokens, in-game items, and future NFT mints.

Lumiterra Item and Ticket System

Each item that is dropped within gameplay in Lumiterra is an NFT. Therefore, players can sell their items to other players. There are two primary ways to earn items:

  • Home Activities: Raise livestock and grow crops.
  • Collecting & Battle: Explore the different lands and maps, collect resources, and fight in dungeons for items.

These items can be sold in the market later. Besides, a player may earn tickets that allow participation in a lottery with USDC or project token prizes.

Tickets can be received to buy/sell/craft items. Some special tickets require materials that are dropped while exploring dungeons, so you will want to team up with friends to maximize your chances when trying to pass levels.

How to play and hunt for Lumiterra game airdrop

Method 1: Giveaway Participation

The most accessible solution for most people to obtain codes for Lumiterra’s Closed Beta Test is through giveaways. The project is currently selecting suitable candidates to distribute codes, typically Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) or crypto community members.

Method 2: LumiQuest Event

You can also participate in Lumiterra’s LumiQuest event, announced on their Discord server:

  1. Access Degame.
  2. Log in using Web3 wallets such as MetaMask or OKX wallet.
  3. Complete simple tasks related to social networks to earn points.

Accumulated points will serve as the basis for receiving tokens from the project in the future. Currently, you can only earn points by completing tasks, so opportunities are limited. However, to be prepared when the game opens to all users, familiarize yourself with the gameplay overview to understand the basic mechanics of the game.

Conclusion

Lumiterra is an MMORPG mixing combat, farming, and team play. Since this project has no intention to list tokens to the market for now.

CoinCu believes it’s very promising in the Ronin ecosystem and thus has huge potential for airdrops soon.
