Ex-Binance Global Adviser to Become Senior Adviser at Harris’ 2024 Campaign

Plouffe, who managed both Obama’s campaigns to victory in 2008 and 2012, brought his expertise to Harris’ presidential campaign. Most recently, he was on the Global Advisory Board of Binance and was a global strategic adviser for Alchemy Pay, a firm that bridges crypto and fiat currencies. His tenure at the firms saw him calling for regulatory reforms in the crypto industry.

Besides the ex-Binance global adviser, Harris’s campaign has retained three other top Obama-era strategists. Stephanie Cutter will oversee strategy messaging and is the former White House communications director and deputy campaign manager for Obama.

Mitch Stewart will handle battleground state strategies, having worked on both Obama campaigns. David Binder is leading the Harris campaign opinion research efforts after managing Obama’s public opinion research.

Biden Drops Out of Re-election Race, Harris Wins Democratic Nomination

All new senior advisers will report to Jen O’Malley Dillon, Harris’ campaign chair and a veteran of Obama’s campaigns and Biden’s 2020 campaign. O’Malley Dillon was also instrumental in building Biden’s 2024 campaign.

As President Joe Biden finishes up the crusade to secure his reelection, hence clearing the route for Harris to join the brawl, Donald Trump is likewise formally endorsed to be the Republican candidate in the November 5 election. Harris has sufficient delegate votes to capture the Democratic nomination.
