Bitget Global Users Surpass 45 Million, Becoming Fourth-Largest Crypto Exchange

The fast-marching growth of the platform has made it the fastest-growing exchange in the globe, having seen a massive 400% increase in Bitget global user growth over the last year.

Bitget CEO Gracy Chen made the announcement during the company’s sixth-anniversary celebrations in Singapore. She highlighted that since 2023, a number of remarkable achievements have been clocked on the platform. Chen maintained that there was exceptional growth in different regions. In 2024 alone, the exchange grew 1,614% in Africa, 729% in South Asia, and 216% in Southeast Asia.

Evidence is a factor that its daily trading volume has reached over $10 billion, with 30 million monthly visits. In the first half of 2024, net inflow reached $779 million. Another native token of the platform, BGB, managed to make it into Forbes’ top-ten best-performing cryptocurrencies for the first half of this year.

New Innovations and Social Responsibility

Bitget developed PoolX and pre-market trading, among other creative products, to meet the heterogeneous demands of its users. Within an extremely short period of only three months, PoolX has successfully launched more than 60 hot projects, benefiting over 350,000 users, while pre-market trading has attracted more than 35,000 traders, boosting engagement on the platform.

Beyond the successes of Bitget global user number, the exchange intends to be corporately responsible through initiatives of support for blockchain education and female entrepreneurs, like Blockchain4Youth and Blockchain4Her.

So far, Blockchain4Youth has educated over 13,000 students from 60 universities across the globe, while Blockchain4Her supports such organizations as SheFi and Women in Web3 that are bent on ensuring diversity in the crypto space.
