EigenLayer has officially lifted its transfer restrictions on the native EIGEN token, opening trading on several exchanges. Today, the token changes hands for about $4.28, which combines for a fully diluted valuation of $7.1 billion, according to CoinGecko.
In so doing, today represents another seminal moment in the very quick lifecycle of EigenLayer, which has stewarded two stakedrops of EIGEN tokens thus a process by which 1.67 billion tokens were supplied.
