Why is it unfair to make a direct comparison between Shiba Inu and Dogecoin?

Shiba Inu, a coin meme with a dog motif, is set to be the third most searched cryptocurrency on Google in 2021 after Bitcoin and Ethereum.

Cryptocurrency researcher Max Maher sifted through the data to predict SHIB price evolution and understand how it was performing.

SHIBa Inu burning mechanism

With a total supply of a trillion, not many believe the Shiba Inu can burn enough of its supply to reach the price of a dollar – or even a cent.

However, Maher researched in detail the Shiba Inu’s burning mechanisms. Primarily, Vitalik Buterin received a large amount of SHIB but burned 410 trillion SHIB, about 90% after donating 50 trillion SHIB to India’s Covid-19 Relief Fund. When he came to Shiba Inu’s Shibaswap (DEX) decentralized exchange, Maher explained that pools and pairs of SHIB and LEASH must burn $ 25,000 to be listed on DEX.

Next, Maher claims that the crypto payment gateway NOWPayments can burn some SHIB with every transaction. However, the burning speed is still unknown. Finally, he points out that Shiboshi owners can also burn $ 100 in SHIB to name their NFT.

SHIB experienced wild upheavals

Can SHIB come to the Robinhood platform? More than 400,000 people are said to have signed a petition to be listed on Robinhood. Maher analyzed financial services earnings, corporate executive reports, and performance reports to provide his opinion.

“Based on all of this information, it’s pretty clear to me that Robinhood will list SHIB and, in that case, drive the price even higher.”

Even so, the researcher warns that this may not happen immediately.

“If I guess SHIB will consolidate for a while, and then Robinhood will make their big announcement that will drive the price up 10 to 18 percent in one day.”

DOGE terminator?

As an ERC-20 token with smart contract functions, Maher stated that Shiba Inu can support staking and liquidity.

In addition, Maher claims that Shiba may want to build its own blockchain – like Dogecoin.

“I’ve said that before, but it’s a little unfair to compare DOGE and SHIBA directly. They have different goals. Both started out as memes and have evolved a bit – like Meme Plus. ”
