Grass Airdrop One to Take Place on October 28, 2024

The highly anticipated airdrop is set to be among the largest distributions ever while marking the latest major milestone in developing a user-owned map of the Internet.

The Grass Airdrop One will give away 100 million GRASS tokens, which is 10% of the total supply. Of these, 9% will be given to the users who have gathered points in the first stage of the network, and an additional 1% will be given to GigaBuds NFT holders and those who have installed Desktop Node and Saga Application.

These tokens will grant a set of privileges that include token buyback, network fees, and staking opportunities in the Grass network, though they cannot be used in any of those manners if they are locked for staking. They also let users make profits from their contributions and give them governance rights so that they may vote on the way ahead for the network.

Grass Network Continues Growth with Over 2 Million Users Globally

To be eligible for the Grass Airdrop One, users need to have collected more than 500 Grass Points during any network epoch and connected their wallet to the Grass dashboard before October 14, 2024, at 20:00 UTC. Airdrop claims are not yet live, but participants are very excited about the official distribution.

Grass has grown to be a big player in the blockchain industry, with over 2 million users across the world. They collect the internet bandwidth that was getting wasted from the user in exchange for tokens by allowing the Grass application to run in the background. This is used by companies to check local product prices and display regional advertisements.
