Users of the Ethereum Name Service (ENS) are initially rewarded with an airdrop of 5 coins

Early adopters in the crypto market were rewarded again for their courage and discovery after the popular Ethereum Name Service protocol issued a foldable, indistinguishable token.

The resulting Airdrop means an instant five-digit payday for many holders, and there are people who have multiple ENS addresses registered in multiple wallets, which means that multiple holders have a six-digit Airdrop number.

It was widely expected that an airdrop would be held for members of the ENS community, especially as the tactic grew in popularity and became popular over the course of 2021 when Uniswap, a decentralized exchange, surprised users with a retroactive airdrop in late 2020. ENS distributed 25 million tokens to domain owners and now the token is being traded on some cryptocurrency exchanges for $ 85.

Entitlement to ENS tokens begins on Monday, November 8th at 7:00 p.m., and eligible domain owners have until May 4th, 2022 to claim the tokens in their assigned newspaper.

The number of tokens that each authorized user receives is based on a calculation that takes into account how long an address will hold the domain and how long the domain has been registered, with a term of 8 years.

The lower tiers received an average of 200 ENS tokens, while the middle tier received 500 ENS and the most active participants received 1,000 ENS.

The token entitlement also requires the active participation of the domain holder, who must vote on four articles of the ENS governance constitution designed to give the new decentralized autonomous organization a head start.

Users also need to authorize voting for their tokens before they can gain access to their tokens, and Coinbase has emerged as one of the top delegates on the early voting.

ENS price campaign and overall inquiries

Data from CoinGecko shows that in the short time it has been trading, the price of ENS ranged from a low of $ 17.63 on November 9 to a high of $ 84.78 on November 10, meaning that the lowest airdrop is currently worth around $ 17,000.

According to data from Dune Analytics, there are 137,689 addresses eligible for the Airdrop, of which 62,634 have completed the process and confirmed 49.72% of the available offer.

This airdrop from ENS marks one of the largest token drops of the year after the dYdX airdrop and gives the most active users of the decentralized derivatives exchange a six-digit salary day, as the value of the tokens increases after they are issued.
