Wicrypt holds IDO on Cardano-based OccamRazer Decentralized Launcher. ZUG, November 12th, 2021 – Wicrypt, the first blockchain-based WiFi sharing network from Africa, has announced that its WNT token will go live on OccamRazer on November 30, 2021.

Wicrypt is a decentralized mobile internet monetization and sharing network that introduces a new type of Virtual Internet Service Provider (ISP) that allows users to control their mobile internet data and make money. The Wicrypt protocol enables end-to-end encryption of user data so anyone can share and monetize their data and provide decentralized internet services to anyone around the world – even in remote communities. Wicrypt has contracted services with a number of organizations including the city of Enugu in Nigeria.

The Wicrypt network is operated by a native token, the Wicrypt Network Token, the token symbol ‘$ WNT’. The WNT token is used to incentivize WiFi hosts in the Wicrypt ecosystem to create and manage WiFi zones, allowing users to access the internet and seamlessly connect IoT devices. All devices connected to Wicrypt are represented by unique, non-traceable tokens (NFTs) that are connected to the blockchain. The data points transferred across devices are all displayed on the blockchain via NFT in real time on the Wicrypt Block Explorer.

In addition, $ WNT is used to pay WiFi hosts to provide their hotspot creation equipment, also known as micro-nodes on the Wicrypt network.
