Mafia-Metaverse SYN CITY announces first game offer on Binance NFT
Press release
Game developer launches exclusive limited NFT collectibles
[Singapore, Singapore] December 6, 2021 – Blockchain game for money SYN City will launch the Binance Supermafia through Binance Initial Game Offering (IGO) on December 9th, 4 p.m. UTC. As part of this introduction, the SYN City team will publish a list of limited edition NFTs and other in-game assets developed specifically for Binance.
The concept of Initial Game Offerings (IGOs) has gained a lot of momentum in recent months. All IGOs are exclusive to Binance, where top-notch blockchain games place their NFT collections on the Binance NFT platform. These collectibles can be listed in auctions, fixed price sales, mystery boxes, and more. Binance enables game developers to install multiple rounds of IGO for their upcoming games. This helps developers deliver unlimited content every round through a flexible pricing structure.
IGO is limited to the game, so any removed content on the Binance NFT platform is only included in the game content. This can include assets such as experience points, access cards, legendary weapons, skins and in-game items that are exclusively reserved for the Binance community.
SYN City, a free-to-play game founded by Roy Liu, former executive director of Tron, is the first mafia and organizational blockchain game of its kind.
SYN City is historic and unique in its approach of being a completely free game and playing for money. As a result, SYN Town has the support of a number of well-known investors and VC firms. Days before the origins of SYN Town started, Twitch co-founders Justin Kan and Robin Chan’s Goat Capital led an $ 8 million funding round with additional funding from Spartan Team, Hack VC, A&T Money, Animoca Brands, and others.
SYN Metropolis is the first “Mafia Metaverse” game developed for blockchain. Developed by a team of seasoned game developers, SYN Metropolis offers a range of Mafia and Association style games and introduces a unique in-game governance feature called Mafia-as-a-DAO (MaaD). The platform’s native token, SYN, gives players access to a range of monetization options such as events and admin rewards. Players can participate in daily events including PvP, PvE, and syndicate-based competitions such as cross-chain tournaments.
