IDO Events: Hangry Animals rescues threatened elephants with AR-based NFT

Miami, December 7th, 2021 – Hangry Animals is launching its popular entertainment no-token franchise (NFT) on Thursday, December 2nd at 7:30 p.m., creating the world’s first AR image that will be displayed during Artwork Basel Miami is molded in NFT. The premiere included a live performance by LA graffiti artist and Belcastro founder Tylor Kenyon at a VIP yacht party.

Kenyon created a vivid image of the unpublished Hangry Animal Miami Beach performance using state-of-the-art RealMax 100 augmented reality (AR) glasses and AR drawing software that allows hand gestures to be entered on the board. The artwork was then paired with Hangry Animal and minted in NFT by the veteran creator of the Coinburn crypto projects.

This event, in collaboration with Live AR Activities and Miami Swim Week, marked the first time a work of art was created directly in the AR environment and sculpted in NFT at Artwork Basel Miami. Kenyon also used AR glasses to draw the Kitty Kat Coin symbol and graffiti bear from his own collection. All AR artworks were auctioned.

The NFT was bundled with the AR headset that was used to create the painting, and six more NFTs were auctioned off for the benefit of IRL Elephants and Humans. The auction for NFT is only open to yacht party visitors.

The net proceeds of the auction will benefit 30 of the 800 remaining Sumatran elephants worldwide who live in Bali with the Mason family, who saved them from the devastation of deforestation 25 years ago. SaveBaliElephants.org, SavingGanesh.org and Unity Find out will all benefit from the event.

The VIP evening cruise is being organized by the Belcastro Group Yacht Line and the creative team at Reside AR Situations in collaboration with the owners of Miami Swim 7 days ™ The Displays.
