It should be noted that Bitcoin is not included in any of the categories in the Top 2021 Global or US Search. Launched in 2013, Dogecoin has grown to become one of the most successful cryptocurrencies of 2021, adding it to the top 10 list of the largest cryptocurrencies by market capitalization earlier this year. The DOGE award has skyrocketed this year, thanks in large part to support from Tesla CEO Elon Musk, who began aggressively promoting DOGE on Twitter in 2020.
At the time of writing, DOGE is up nearly 5,100% in the past 365 days, compared to 632% for Ether. In contrast, Bitcoin has gained about 160% in the last year.
