On December 11th, HNUE High School announced on their Facebook page that they would make history by being the first academic institution in Vietnam to create a cultural museum in the metaverse.
The museum will have 3D artifacts, a communal space, a historical artifact display area, and room for all generations of the students, courses, and classes. Any students are welcome to add their own remembrance.
The school was established in 1966 as a national educational institution to develop Vietnamese students who specialized in mathematics. HNUE High School is Vietnam’s second-oldest magnet high school and seven national-level high schools for exceptional students.
The school was frequently placed first in National Science Olympiads for high school students and National University Entrance Examinations. Its students have won more than a hundred medals in International Science Olympiads.
Its alumni include four Vietnamese government ministers, outstanding scientists at top domestic and international universities, and notable Vietnamese businesspeople.
This remarkable initiative was created and funded by Mr. Hoang Quoc Viet, a former HNUE student, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Vietsoftpro.
The creator of the project, Mr. Hoang Quoc Vitet, is the Chairman of the BoD of Vietsoftpro, one of the leading technology companies in Vietnam. The firm has constantly been pioneering at the vanguard of exceptional and original concepts and initiatives such as intelligent tourist services, smart cities, digital transformation, etc.
