The 12-year-old artist makes $ 1.6 million selling her NFT artwork

12-year-old artist Nyla Hayes has just made history after selling NFT for nearly $ 4 million and was recently named TIME magazine’s first artist-in-residence.

Hayes’ NFT “Long Neckie” collection is worth approximately $ 3.4 million in crypto and has sales of over $ 1.6 million.

Hayes was first introduced to NFTs by her uncle and also watched many YouTube videos to learn how to make and sell them.

NFTs can be anything digital, e.g. B. drawings or music, and can be sold online at a certain price.

Immediately after Hayes launched Long Neckie, people started buying it, and since March it has sold over 960 ETH, which is $ 3.4 million in digital currency.

“I started drawing at the age of 4, when I was 9 my parents bought me a smartphone to do digital art. I drew women with long necks that I call long neckies, ”Hayes said talk to TIME children.

Thanks to the introduction of the “Long Neckie” collection, Hayes became extremely popular.

Her abstract drawings captivated everyone and became a young artist breaking boundaries and making history through sales.

Fame and success at the age of 12 brought Hayes to TIME Magazine, which is no easy task.
