Clout.art Recover the stolen Instagram controller from artist Metaverse with special NFT.
Press release
Last week the story of Thea-Mai Baumann was known, an Australian artist and director of Arts Council Australia, who has been working under the pseudonym “metaverse” for almost a decade and who has the @metaverse account on Instagram.
On November 2nd, with fewer than 1,000 followers under her name and a week after Fb announced her name change to Meta, Thea had her Instagram account blocked. When she tried to log in, she was greeted with a shocking message that read:
“Your account has been deactivated for impersonating someone else.”
She tried to verify her apparently “fake” identity on Instagram – but to no avail. At the time, she had nothing to prove that she actually was the original Metaverse artist, other than a non-fungible token (NFT) that she accidentally minted a few days earlier.
On October 30th, Thea tested a new platform and a new marketplace in the NFT area, which can convert social media posts into NFT in such a way that all data and values from the World Wide Web 2. .. to the website 3. through a specialist Coin minting are transferred process. Including images from a post is easy, but it is very different from capturing the value of specific content and storing lineage data and valuation estimates in a structured model.
Without her knowledge at this point, Clout.art did just that with her Instagram account and posts. By validating their Instagram profile, Clout.artwork created a social identity pair with a verified wallet, meaning their @metaverse handle now lives in the chain via the wallet address of their advertising.
She wrote her first Instagram post as NFT in 2012 and named it Metaverse Flamingo. The process is done with public and transparent transaction records in less than a minute in the chain. She became the owner of the NFT, which was her first post on Instagram. In addition, she even archives the original post just to keep the World Wide Web version 3. alive.
Flamingo has proven to be a valuable asset at a time when she’s trying to regain grip on her legal team. As online evidence, this means that no one can dispute the ownership of your account. It was the main proof in the struggle to regain their identity.
“We live in a system in which our data or identities seem to be locked and deleted out of nowhere. If you are an artist and your main source of income depends on your online presence, you cannot afford to lose it. You need a way to validate your property rights, ”Thea explained.
According to the article in The New York Periods, Theas @metaverse account was restored and returned to her with no further explanation from Meta.
The first @metaverse NFT Instagram post will be auctioned on December 21, 2021 from 10 a.m. UTC on Clout.artwork. The proceeds from the auction will go to Thea’s Punk Foundation to fund and free artists by educating them about the NFT and its monetization options.
