Through the community-centric approach, Avocado Guild is dedicated to opening doors to real-world opportunities and gratifying experiences for the learners. With this goal in mind, the company teamed up with TPG Telecom, Singapore’s fastest-growing mobile network operator.
For the first time in the APAC area, a major mobile operator will investigate the possibility of converting the platform’s soon-to-be-launched token, DAO, into data credits, enabling for more equitable access to internet services.
The blockchain gaming startup and TPG Telecom reached an agreement following the firm’s recent $18M funding round, which was the largest Series A private fundraising round by a P2E guild to date. The collaboration will add value to the platform economy by providing the first real-world application for DAO.
Brendan Wong, CEO and Co-Founder, Avocado Guild, said:
“This groundbreaking partnership with TPG Telecom not only allows real-world usage of the soon-to-be-launched Avocado DAO token, but contributes to the overall vision for Avocado Guild to enrich our scholars’ lives by allowing them to exchange the tokens for internet access.“
TPG Telecom and the blockchain gaming startup will announce an innovative pilot initiative centered on the usage of DAO in the next months, with involvement from PSP Soteria Ventures (PSV) and QCP Capital.
