NFT artwork grossed $ 2.5 billion in the first half of 2021, and when the crypto market collapsed in May, many believed the hype surrounding the NFT market was beginning to subside. However, considering the growing demand for NFT products from various brands, companies, and celebrities, the NFT hype doesn’t seem to be over for a long time.
A recent internal report suggested that Instagram is looking to break into the NFT market as well, while Lady Gaga and boxing legend Mike Tyson also unveiled their NFTs last week. Big brands like the video sharing platform TikTok and Bear Company Anheuser Busch are both diving into the NFT market.
Nick Tran, TikTok Global Marketing Director, said:
“You don’t want to see an unbranded variety because you’re missing out on a lot of what you love.”
