The former SpaceX intern continues to stress that Elon Musk created Bitcoin

Former SpaceX intern Sahil Gupta continues to support his theory that billionaire Elon Musk is Satoshi Nakamoto, nicknamed the creator of Bitcoin.

In a recent post on popular blogging website Medium, Gupta said he was “almost certain” that Musk is behind BTC. His belief was reinforced by a phone call with Sam Teller, the entrepreneur’s former hiring manager, that he was back in 2017.

After Gupta asked Teller if Musk was really Satoshi, Teller gave a vague answer that made matters even more confusing:

Silence for 15 seconds. Then Teller said, “Well what should I say?” No interpretation. From reality.

Gupta, who also worked briefly for Tesla in 2018, made headlines with his first post, which went viral in 2017.

He speculated that, given his extensive experience in cryptocurrencies and economics, Musk could easily have written a whitepaper on Bitcoin. The native South African is a co-founder of the payment giant PayPal.

Musk is fluent in the C ++ programming language, which Satoshi used to write the original version of the Bitcoin software.

In 2014, Satoshi briefly returned to the internet to expose the popular Newsweek article about Japanese-American man Dorian S. Nakamoto as the creator of Bitcoin by simply saying it was not Bitcoin. Musk tweeted about it just a week after surfacing again on the P2P Foundation website.

The general public doesn’t need a lot of persuasion. A poll conducted in May found that more than half of Australians think Musk is Satoshi.

Musk denies making Bitcoin

Musk denied inventing Bitcoin in a 2017 tweet in response to Gupta’s theory, but that doesn’t stop speculation.

The biggest argument against this theory is that Musk is known as an advocate of sustainable energy, so he has the potential to create a cryptocurrency that uses a lot of electricity and generates large amounts of CO2.

Tesla started accepting Bitcoin in March but later stopped payments in the largest cryptocurrency due to environmental concerns, causing the price to plummet.

The 50-year-old dollar billionaire has also repeatedly stated that he prefers Dogecoin, his favorite meme, to Bitcoin for payments.

Unless Musk is not playing 3D chess, it is unlikely that he created Bitcoin, despite some compelling arguments in favor of the theory.
