Local blockchain association banned by the Iranian government

According to the head of the Iranian blockchain community, the Iranian government is said to have banned a local blockchain association and the cryptocurrency warning list is the primary cause of the ban, so now we read more on the news, our latest cryptocurrency.

The Ministry of Interior of the Islamic Republic of Iran has blocked many tasks by the Iranian blockchain community, but the association claims it didn’t receive any direct notification. The Ministry’s Social Affairs Organization asked reports the IBC’s financial activities and transactions with cryptocurrency exchanges through a notice published weekly in the local paper Hamshahri Online, according to local sources.

Over the weekend, the ministry blocked the association’s activities, but IBC spokesman Sepher Mohammadi, who’s also CEO of two exchanges, was listed as a host of the association’s site but wasn’t available. After a mining ban in the summer, Iran plans to improve regulation of cryptocurrencies as Iranian President Hassan Rouhani said the country must legalize all crypto-related activities in order to stay afloat and safeguard and protect national interests. He called for a joint study by various parties to create a regulatory framework for cryptocurrencies.
