NBA Top Shots NFTs have silently been selling well in the last month. They were first intended at the general public and people with limited knowledge of cryptocurrencies and blockchain technology.

NBA Top Shots NFT Sales Have Increased By 72% In The Last Month.

In January 2022, OpenSea made $3.5 billion in sales. NBA Top Shots NFTs from Dapper Labs was launched in October 2020. Top Shot was first targeted for individuals who could afford to acquire them with cash. In other words, collectors did not need to understand the complexities of bitcoin and blockchain in order to possess these NFTs.

According to latest CryptoSlam statistics, Top Shot NFTs raised $53.8M, a 72% increase in the previous 30 days. This week saw the launch of a new TV and social media ad starring NBA player Kevin Durant. First-time Top Shot purchasers will receive a free Durant NFT moment. Durant just became a Coinbase ambassador, while Stephen Curry joined FTX as a worldwide ambassador.

The Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) Strike NFT Collectibles are Dapper Labs’ first foray into NFTs. These will primarily include video content from UFC events, with Packs releasing on January 23.

NFL All Day will be available on the Flow Blockchain at the conclusion of the current NFL season. This will include digital video highlights as NFTs, however it is unknown if they will be as popular as the NFT Top Shots.

NBA Top Shot #16538716, which sold for $10,000 in the previous 24 hours, was the most expensive Top Shot NFT sold in that time frame, with sales volume totaling $1.47M.

NFTs such as NBA TopShots have not piqued the interest of the crypto community as much as CryptoPunks, Bored Ape Yacht Club, Meebits, and World of Women. Durant, on the other hand, may be to responsible for the recent sales boom.

According to BeInCrypto, NBA Top Shot NFTs recently outsold CryptoKitties. In the first week of June 2021, DappRadar detected over 70,000 traders purchasing or selling digital cards. Top Shot’s volume increased by 67% to more than $8 million at the time.

Dapper Labs secured $305 million in March 2021, with noteworthy investors like Michael Jordan and Kevin Durant.
