DOGE, XRP network fees increase the most in 2021 and the most expensive is still ETH.
The cryptocurrency market has seen significant changes in both value, on-chain data and transaction fees in 2021.
A recent study published by Forexsuggest.com highlights 15 different crypto assets to compare trading fees and growth in 2021. Some of them are lesser known and there are also some relatively old ones like Fluorcoin (FTC) and Blackcoin (BLK). The researchers used fee data sources from Ycharts.com and Bitinfocharts.com and collected the metrics on the first day of each month.
The third-biggest increase in transaction fees in 2021 is Blackcoin (BLK) from $0.00000442 to $0.000878, an increase of 1.886 percent. The most expensive transaction fee belongs to the Ethereum (ETH) network, which also saw the fourth largest increase in fees, from $3.36 to $52.45, an increase of 1,459%. Zcash (ZEC) was the fifth-largest fee gainer, from $0.00000406 to $0.0000368, up 806%.
Research by Forexsuggest.com shows that Feathercoin (FTC) transaction fees dropped from $0.000194 to $0.000955 (-51%). It is followed by Monero (XMR) from $0.0349 to $0.0227 (-29%) and Bitcoin (BTC) from $5,552 to $4,092 (-26%).
Cryptocurrencies with transaction fees of $0.01 or less include Dash (DASH) $0.0173, Bitcoin Cash (BCH) $0.00851, XRP $0.00649, Bitcoin Gold (BTG) $0.00545, and Ethereum Classic (ETC) $0.0039.
The second highest fee after Ethereum is that of Bitcoin at $4,092, followed by Binance Coin (BNB) at $0.562 per transfer in terms of the most expensive transfer fees. The Litecoin (LTC) fee recorded late last year was around $0.0278 per transaction.
