CEO Flare provides an update on the upcoming Spark (FLR) airdrop for XRP holders.
According to Flare CEO Hugo Philion, the path to the much-anticipated airdrop of XRP holders is becoming clearer.
“Here’s the answer for anyone asking where their FLR is. We will update Songbird before the end of March 2022 with the last two protocols required before launching Flare. This will then allow us to continue launching Flare. A full roadmap for Flare’s launch will be announced in the coming weeks.”
Flare Network, with its native FLR token, aims to bring smart contract capabilities to various blockchain networks, starting with XRP and then Litecoin (LTC).
When Flare launched, the company said each eligible hodler would receive 15% of their claimable Spark tokens immediately and then an average of 3% per month for a minimum of 25 months and up to a maximum of 3 months. Maximum is 34 months.
Philion said Flare is in touch with leading exchanges regarding the upcoming airdrop.
“Regarding the distribution of FLR, we have been in contact with the largest exchanges to set and fulfill the conditions for the token distribution.”
