The cause for Chainlink’s over 17% increase over the weekend has been revealed by the Santiment agency.
According to Santiment, an on-chain analytics agency, Chainlink has surpassed Ethereum, the second-largest crypto platform, in terms of development activity, as seen by recent significant updates on Github.
According to Santiment’s statistics, LINK developers have been submitting 304 big updates every day.
The chart also reveals that LINK development activity has been higher than not just Ethereum but also Bitcoin.
LINK, together with FTX Token (FTT) and Shiba Inu (SHIB) token, has lately become one of the most popular cryptocurrencies. Several of the major ETH whales actively purchased LINK in January and early February.
