A new Shiba Inu whale was born, according to WhaleStats, a tracker of the top 1000 Ethereum whales. The anonymous just purchased 3.4 trillion SHIB, which is worth approximately $115.9 million at current prices.
According to reported on-chain data, the new whale completed two separate transactions within the last few hours. The first transaction involved a total of 3,437,315,050,008 SHIB tokens. Later that evening, a second transaction was finished, in which more than 20 Billion tokens were bought. This wallet now contains 3,457,477,154,937 SHIB tokens, which were worth $115,998,358 at the time of the massive transactions.
Now, SHIB is also the token that was held the most (excluding ETH), reaching an incredible 1,165,000+ holders.
In recent days, the meme coin community is very excited about the announcements of Shiberse metaverse. The team revealed that Shiberse land purchases would be available “very soon” a few days ago, and as a result, SHIB token is now gaining approximately 50% of its value since the local bottom reached on February 3.
The announcement has also helped LEASH token gain in value by 45% over the last 24 hours. Anyone interested in purchasing Shiberse land must be the holder of LEASH, the ShibaSwap’s native token, in order to gain preferential access to “this first selling phase of land plots in our metaverse.” After grazing an interday high of $1,886.19, LEASH is now trading at $1,827, with a market cap of $190 million.
