Following the announcement of its NFT partnership with SUPERPLASTIC, Gucci has revealed that it has purchased virtual land in The Sandbox and will begin creating a world on the metaverse platform.

This action is part of the brand project, Gucci Vault, which presently contains its NFT collaborations and antique objects and describes itself as an “experimental online space” that merges the past, present, and future via the force of imagination. Specifics have yet to be released, but initial reports indicate that immersive experiences and in-game virtual apparel designed by Gucci designers will be available.

Selected metaverse fashion items designed by top designers will be accessible for customers to buy, own, and use in their own Sandbox experience. According to The Sandbox, the space “will be inspired by childhood memories of the search for beauty, which draws you to Gucci Maze,” where debates about the future of fashion and the metaverse will take place.

Gucci Vault is a metaverse-related project of the brand. They revealed on Wednesday that it has launched an Instagram account with the same name. This NFTs project is also the space where this luxury fashion sells its old pieces as well as pieces by other new designers such as Collina Strada, Rave Review, and Ahluwalia.
