Binance Labs Makes $1.5M Strategic Investment in GAMEE to Bring the Gaming Platform Mainstream
Binance Labs is pleased to announce its latest strategic investment of $1.5M in GAMEE, a high-engagement mobile gaming platform that rewards players for their skills and efforts.
GAMEE is a subsidiary of Animoca Brands that has attracted over 40 million users globally who played over 5.4 billion gameplays. Powered by the GMEE token, the currency of purchase and action across the GAMEE platform, this project aims to introduce the benefit of blockchain to mainstream gamers.
Arc8 and G-Bots are the newest blockchain gaming experiences that are powered by the GMEE token. Arc8 introduced an esport approach to casual mobile gaming. This high-adrenaline game is played by 300,000 players monthly and has risen to become one of the top dApps on the Polygon network. The Arc8 experience is enhanced by G-Bots, the cross-platform NFTs that are upgradeable and breedable.
The new funding announced today will be used to support the growth of this blockchain gaming experiences, drive product development, and facilitate decentralization, where Arc8 is turning into a blockchain launchpad for play-to-earn titles.
Chase Guo, Investment Director at Binance Labs said: “GAMEE is a top-tier mobile gaming platform with a deep understanding of play-to-earn mechanisms. We are excited about this investment to bring blockchain gaming to the next level.”
Bozena Rezab, CEO of GAMEE, commented: “We are very happy to welcome Binance Labs as a strategic investor to advance our growth and assist us in building the future of gaming, based on the true ownership of digital assets.”
