Salesforce co-CEO Marc Benioff bought Time Magazine, a publication that does well in the NFT space, in 2018. There have been reports of internal discussions over whether or not the company will partner, possibly as a competitor could be viewed from OpenSea.
There has been much drama in the NFT community regarding the massive response to the World Wildlife Fund’s (WWF) initial NFT effort. The foundation has sought to develop NFTs that help educate individuals and raise funds for environmental activism. And despite the focus on the environment, with plans to take the project to Polygon, public outcry has been overwhelming and WWF has since scrapped the project.

Twitter is a de facto leader in allowing users to post their profile picture on NFT. However, many other social media sites seem to be adopting the theme.
Now adult content platform OnlyFans is the latest site to adopt NFT profile pictures. “This feature is the first step in exploring the role that NFT can play on our platform,” said CEO Ami Gan. The platform has continued to strive to change its identity from an adult creator platform and aim to launch new content industries. This move to adopt NFT could signal the latest attempt to do just that.
