On February 14, PeckShield has detected Titano Finance getting exploited. The exploiter gained about 4,828.7 BNB ( nearly $1.9m). The money has been split into 24 wallet addresses and initially held in this wallet.
Titano Finance is transforming DeFi with the Titano Autostaking Protocol (TAP) that delivers the industry’s highest fixed APY, rebasing rewards every 30 minutes, and a simple buy-hold-earn system that grows your portfolio in your wallet, fast. The project has just been celebrated by 40,000+ holders last Sunday.
Many DeFi platform incidents occurred in recent days. On January 28, attackers stole more than $80 million from Binance Smart Chain-based Qubit Finance.
Some hacked DeFi platforms have sought to appeal to the hacker’s empathy by begging them to refund the stolen money. Such attempts, however, have largely met with minimal success.
Certain DeFi platforms have turned illegal heists into bounty programs in order to minimize possible losses and allow criminals to legally withdraw their loot. However, the practice is still legally questionable and widely regarded unfavorably.
