Review Sollarion ($SCRL) – The first game from the Solana Galaxy Metaverse

Sollarion is the first online NFT Hexa-turn strategy card game based on Solana Blockchain. They’ve focused on their community and players, so they’re able to earn from everything they do, such as participating in tournaments, finishing achievements, bets with other players, or buying and selling on the marketplace.

Concept Project – What is Sollarion?

Sollarion is the first online NFT hexa-turn strategy card game based on Solana Blockchain, which is used due to the in-game currency and NFTs. They have focused on our community and players, so they are able to earn from everything they do, such as participating in tournaments, finishing achievements, bets with other players, or buying and selling on the marketplace.

It is not just a card game, but a turn-based hexagon map strategy game from Solana Galaxy Metaverse(SGM). After registration, every player earns a basic pack of cards for free which is enough to start playing and earning our in-game currency Sollarion Crystal (SLRC), for which can be bought other in-game items. The player owns all game items in the form of an NFT and therefore can sell them to other players and earn by playing.

What is the project trying to achieve?

Sollarion team is planning to organize regular daily or multi-day tournaments. There will be a possibility to let the player organize their own tournaments, where he set own entry fee, length, time, rules, and rewards.

GamePlay

There are randomly generated maps on 8 different planets on which battles take place.

One of 8 planets is randomly selected first, then the surface and appearance of the map are randomly generated and at the same time, the materials on the map are randomly generated.

Then each player chooses their deck of 30 cards (depending on the type of material on the planet’s surface).

The draw to choose who will start first

Each player receives 4 random cards from their deck, which can be exchanged 1 at a time. Each player who starts the first turn receives 1 energy (each additional turn receives +1 energy). If the player has a unit that needs a certain amount of energy to layout, they can.

If he moves his unit to a location where the material is located (METAL, RADIOACTIVITY, LIQUID, or CRYSTAL), he may build a mine on that location and extract it.

Units can attack each other the moment they come within 1 playing field to each other, except for the AoE abilities, which only have some cards.

Each player tries to destroy the opponent’s portal (30 HP), then the game ends, and the player who has the destroyed portal loses.

What is unique selling point?

Orbs

Orbs are one of the most important game NFTs. They are used to modify cards in Forge. Orbs exist in six rarities from common to mythic. The rarity of an orb affects the power with which the card will be modified (a rarer orb will affect the card more).

Types of orbs:

• Modifying basic stats (e.g. +1 life or +1 speed)
• Ability boost (e.g. +10% main ability power)
• Removing or adding an ability
• Change the raw materials for laying out the card (e.g. METAL is replaced with LIQUID)

Forge

One of the most important spots on any base is the Forge. The functions of the forge are:

• Creating in-game NFTs

The player can spend in-game NFTs for SLRC currency. These are for example decks of cards or orbs. The obtained NFTs are random.

• Burning in-game NFTs

If a player owns NFTs they don’t need, they have the option to use forge to burn the NFTs and get a SLRC.

• Disassembling the cards

The player has the option to disassemble a card he owns. By disassembling the card, the player receives the basis of the card and the orbs. The player always receives the base of the card, but with orbs, there is little chance of the orb being destroyed.

• Making cards

The player chooses a card base into which he can insert orbs and customize the card to suit his needs.

SLRC tokens are SPL tokens on the Solana blockchain. SLRC token is an in-game currency and governance token. A player can use the token in the forge to create in-game NFTs or on a marketplace to purchase in-game NFTs from other players. If a player doesn’t have enough SLRCs, they will offer the option to pay in SOL or USDC to buy SLRCs for players to make it faster and easier. Nothing changes for the seller and they will receive the required amount of SLRCs.
