The power of choice will be promptly handed to the Shiba Inu community through Doggy DAO in the form of a vote for any new projects that are scheduled to join the WOOF Pools in ShibaSwap, as well as how the BONE awards (Allocation Points) will be allocated amongst them.
In its official medium blog article, the team alluded to the “Doggy DAO Phase 1” release as “Beta,” implying that the system may undergo an upgrade in response to community comments. The team also claimed that they will keep a close check on the system’s operation to assure that the community finds it simple to use, safe, and fair.
Members of the community who own tBONE, the staked form of BONE, will be able to vote. The community will be able to choose how the BONE awards should be split across Liquidity Pairings by voting.
In the blog post, the team also stated that the community should use their power wisely and after conducting their own research (DYOR) on the project they want to include on Shiba Swap, as “it is important to understand that ShibaSwap Developers and/or anyone from the Shiba Inu Team (Breeds) are NOT directly involved in the autonomy of the voting process.”
To make the DAO system more reliable, the team reportedly introduced a new safety mechanic, ‘The guardians’ (6/9 wallet), alongside the Defense Breed, who would be accountable for creating the ultimate decision for allocation permission and appropriate onboarding. Shiba developer Kaal Dhairya is on the list of guardians, which is already modified in the Shiba Woofpaper under the ‘Emergency Multisig’ section.
“This is an empowering effort to avoid any scams, thus overviewing the process of autonomy, as well as factoring in someone truly gaming the system,” the Shiba Inu team added.
