Cross The Ages is a new metaverse game. It is a free-to-play game, based on free-to-read novels, that allows anybody with access to a smartphone or desktop to enter the Universe to start collecting digital cards.
Cross the ages ©️ is a universe in which fantasy and science fiction come together. The two worlds share the single continent of Artellium. To the west lies Arkhante, masters of magic and summoning. To the east, the city-continent Mantris is home to ultra-connected multicultural people whose technology has invaded everyday life.
The young Malkha, surrounded by her seven Primus, reigns from the capital, Babylonia. To the west, the city-continent Mantris is home to Neurotechs, an ultra-connected multicultural people whose technology has invaded everyday life.
The Amortals, humans who have transferred their minds to super-AIs, run the corporations for which the citizen-shareholders of Mantris work.
CROSS THE AGES is more than an application for collecting game cards, it’s a universe, more precisely a dystopia.
With an exclusive concept of transforming cards from the virtual to the real world. Cross The Ages creates a unique experience of its kind.
It is a bridge between two worlds, the first nostalgic which reminds us of our first purchases of Panini card packs or magic gathering, and the other which is the world of technology where all our information, our memories are digitized.
The game is based on 7 novels which will give hope of at least 10 years to this project.
The first season is composed of 365 various cards of Arkhante and Mantris which will consist to collect more than 290 cards, 52 off series, 10 exclusive, and 7 unique collectibles with different rarities :
Common, Uncommon, Rare, Super rare, Mythics, Alternative, Alternative combo, Exclusive, Unique.
Their vision is to marry the virtual world with the physical world by allowing players to not only hold digital and NFT assets but to be able to bring them to life and into the physical world.
The physical world draws upon nostalgia reminding us of our first collectible cards. The virtual world is where technology lives and our virtual space on the internet is where we live our digitized lives.
Cross The Ages is based on seven novels that will be published over the next seven years. The first book is already published and its corresponding digital cards collection explores the world of high-tech machines as well as the world of wild creatures and monsters. The collection includes 365 collectible cards per year with various levels of scarcity, from 75 digital artists from across the globe.
Cross The Ages is a Metaverse where developers, digital artists, and gamers can contribute to the success of the project by building new cities, creating new games, earning valuable NFTs through adventures, and gathering real-world card collectibles.
The vision of the team is to develop a series of games where users contribute to the evolution of the storyline and take part in the creation of an infinite group of dystopian realms within the Cross The Ages Universe.

The combination of NFTs as digital identifiers and NFCs serving as the twin identifiers for the physical asset ensures an added value that has not been seen before in the collectible market.
In addition to this unique approach, the Universe in which the saga takes place, as well as the artistic visuals created by over a hundred well-known artists, ensures that Cross The Ages has all the required potential and resources to go far beyond a collectible card game and flourish into its own Metaverse.
They are leveraging blockchain technology, to ensure that their players can:
Crystals – in-game tokens, a so-called ‘soft currency’. Crystals can be earned and won within the game. Crystals are stable tokens, for ease of use.
Crystals are required for all ‘off-chain’ in-game activities. The tokens have the usual in-game utilities such as buying card packs and skins, buying or unlocking booster packs, and minting cards into NFTs.
Crystals can be exchanged into the CTA Tokens at the then-current exchange rate within the in-game marketplace.
Gold – is a second in-game token, it is also a so-called ‘soft currency’. The token is ‘off-chain’ and therefore not tradeable.
Gold is required for the in-game merging of digital cards, this has a direct utility of defeating bots and ensures fairness of the game for the players. Gold is a stable token.
CTA Token – a utility token granting major game advantages and access to off-series valuable NFTs, special access to tournaments, and access to exclusive content.
Moreover, CTA Token is required for all ‘on-chain’ activities. CTA Token is a tradeable blockchain-based token, the value of which will appreciate as the game develops and advances into a Metaverse.
CTA Tokens are required for minting and merging of NFTs as well as printing NFTs into the physical NFC cards, buying or unlocking booster packs.
After the NFT is printed into the NFC card, those NFTs are frozen within the game and can no longer be printed into NFCs.
CTA Tokens are required to enter Guild competitions and tournaments. The holders of the CTA Token will have the Governance and Voting powers in the direction of the Metaverse development.
CTA Tokens can be exchanged into Crystals at the then-current exchange rate. NFTs – valuable in-game collectibles as non-fungible tokens. The NFTs have a specified limited time frame for minting from digital cards. Once the next collection of cards is available, minting of the previous collection will no longer be possible.
This will incentivize the players to mint NFTs and build buy pressure so that NFTs increase in value over time. There are 2 NFT collections per annum, each of 145 cards per collection.
NFC collectible trading cards – physical collectible cards are encoded with near-field communication technology (NFC) connected to a smart contract on the blockchain. This will verify and validate ownership and possession of each particular card and prevent counterfeiting of physical cards.
Merging of the cards results in more rare and therefore more valuable cards being produced. Off-chain merging of the digital cards in-game requires Gold. On-Chain merging of the NFTs requires CTA Tokens.
As the game develops, Metaverse land will become available for purchase by players who hold CTA Tokens and who wish to mine Crystals and build their own cities. The vibration of the Earth in the Cross The Ages Universe will randomly allocate the Crystals within the available land. The players can also battle other players for the Crystals but can risk leaving their own Crystals unattended.

The tokens will be distributed to the following stakeholders:
Fundraising – 25 % of the tokens are allocated for fundraising as follows:
Long-term rewards – long term community rewards – 20% (200,000,000 tokens)
Marketing – to ensure excellent marketing efforts – 7% (70,000,000 tokens)
Development – to ensure development efforts – 5% (50,000,000 tokens)
Reserve and Treasury – reserve and treasure for future fundraising – 25% (250,000,000 tokens)

All tokens are subject to lock-in and vesting periods. Tokens will be distributed in a linear manner over time, based on the round of investment where CTA Tokens were obtained.
CTA Token is a utility token granting major game advantages and allowing users to migrate from the digital space into the physical world.
Holding, expending, or staking of CTA Tokens will be required for the following actions:
Digital Cards – trading, lending, and merging of digital cards as well as buying booster packs. The merging of digital cards creates more rare and more valuable cards.
NFTs – minting NFTs from digital cards as well as merging NFTs creates more rare and valuable NFTs. Players can also lend their NFTs to other players, thus earning CTA Tokens. NFTs can also be bought and sold for CTA Tokens within the marketplace.
NFC Cards – printing of NFC cards from NFTs. Once the NFC is printed, the NFTs will be frozen as digital cards.
Staking – players are encouraged to stake their CTA Tokens to earn valuable assets and increase the liquidity of the CTA pools.
Major in-game advantages – major game advantages such as saving time to progress through the game, access to off-series valuable NFTs, special access to Guild competitions and tournaments, and access to exclusive content.
Metaverse land – stakes of CTA Tokens will have exclusive access rights to Metaverse land sales during the initial release.
Governance – as the game develops they welcome their community to participate in the development of the game and the building of the Metaverse through voting and governance powers. More information on the logistics of the DAO governance will be released in time.

Cross The Ages develops an in-game marketplace for the in-game tokens Crystals and Gold as well as for CTA Tokens and NFTs.
Moreover, the CTA Tokens will also be traded on Centralized Exchanges and Decentralized Exchanges, where they will be paired with several pools.
Players can lend their cards to other players on the marketplace and earn CTA Tokens.
Players can win cards playing the game when participating in challenges or in special events. Then such cards can be minted into NFTs or merged in order to obtain a more valuable NFT.
The minted NFTs will be tradable on EVM compatible marketplaces, such as OpenSea as well as on the internal marketplace. It will be more advantageous to trade NFTs on the internal CTA marketplace as there will be limited gas fees.

In order to avoid counterfeit products, every card is protected by NFC. The NFC ensures authenticity, provides the history of the asset through transparent traceability and guarantees the person in the possession of the card is the rightful owner.
