Scam Alert: Crypto Scammer using ARK Invest’s Identical to make 1.3 BTC in 2 days (The latest scam in 2022)

ARK Invest seems to be a familiar name back in 2020 when Cathie Wood – CEO and CIO of ARK Invest received many messages informing that there are people using her and the company’s identical to scam many people by hacking someone’s Youtube Channel and do the Crypto Giveaway. The CEO has tweeted to warn everyone about this

But then, after a while, scammers started to use this method again to trick everyone. They still run a live broadcast with Cathie’s video talking about ETH/BTC on Youtube Channel with the name ARK Invest US. The channel has over 70k subscribers and has a website link to a “giveaway” that ARK is running, when you click on the link, it takes you to a screen where if you send 1 ETH you get 2 back!

According to Rakesh Krishnan, a Scam Hunter/ Blockchain Investigator with MalwareHunterTeam, Phish.Stats and PhishFort. They have found out that these scammers are using a new site and BTC address to confuse users. In just 2 days, these criminals made 1.3 BTC (~$50,795)
