Tom Brady, an American football quarterback for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers of the National Football League, admitted to being a “huge fan” of the Ethereum co-founder Vitalik Buterin and wanted to meet him, according to his latest tweet:
The superstar footballer, who startled the world by abruptly announcing his retirement, commended Buterin for his contributions to the Bitcoin business. He notes that without the Ethereum co-founder, he would not have been able to launch Autograph, his NFT firm.
Brady’s words of encouragement came in response to a tweet in which Buterin provided screenshots of several abusive remarks criticizing his appearance. The Ethereum co-founder appeared on the cover of the historic issue of Times Magazine, which irritated several critics.
Some Twitter users drew ludicrous comparisons between Buterin and Brady. One user remarked on the “dystopian” version of the well-known footballer. Another remarked that Buterin resembles Brady after he’s done meth.
