The message of award-winning Italian DJ Benny Benassi during his performance in the Decentraland Metaverse was “no war, love, and peace.” The one-hour show, the first of its kind display of digital fashion, is one of the highlights of Fashion Week. For Benassi, the performance was to close off Saturday night after another day packed with events.
He is beaming from his studio, where he was living DJ-ing some fantastic tunes. However, the packed Techno stage, which was built during last September’s music festival, couldn’t always support the weight.
The performance is thus edited down to 15 minutes because that is how long the video had audio with Twitch, unfortunately, muting the best part where he sings no war, to love – while making the love sing – and to peace – while making the peace sign as shown in the featured image. Still, it was entertaining and a pleasant way to spend a Saturday night if you couldn’t be bothered to go out.
