Reign of Terror is an MMO simulation game that takes place in a cyberpunk metaverse. Players go through the storyline by completing various types of missions that require collecting a diverse set of NFTs and items, represented as different game elements, such as heroes, units, equipment, blueprints, vehicles, land, a building system, and unpredictable units you can bring to the battlefield.
Level up and upgrade your NFT heroes, equipment, agents, and vehicles using in-game currency. Fuse your NFTs to burn lower-quality NFTs and increase rarity. Obtain different tiered lands through the NFT marketplace and develop them to obtain unique bonuses fit for your gameplay style.
Conquer the cyberpunk metaverse together with your friends by creating guilds and forming alliances. Raid your opponents and plunder their lands for resources. Attack garrisoned heroes for ransom or execute them to hinder your enemies. Or lend NFTs to other players to aid them in completing missions, giving both of you the chance to earn.
Missions are designed to entertain the players and depending on which missions, players can obtain certain parts, items, and in-game currencies to advance in the game. Missions are tied to many systems including blueprints, guilds, and alliance systems. These missions have a limit to replay and are capped by the player’s Imperial Pass level.
PvE Missions can be played passively or actively. Passive game plays is where the AI takes control to advance the game while active play is controlled by the player.
The game is designed to allow quick action for players to experience before they decide if they want to fully immersive themselves in the game. Each player needs to start with purchasing NFT heroes and fusing them to level them up to perform harder missions while they learn about the dark world of the Reign of Terror.
As players progress, they will know that bigger forces are at play and the game is much deeper than just going through missions and collecting cool items and parts for their blueprints. Deeper down, there is a complex economic, social and strategic end game. The underlying objectives or game loops that players prioritize will change the further they progress into the game.
The player journey is important to allow progression in a balanced manner between learning the game and encountering new content to learn and master during the late stage.
Enter a futuristic fully-immersive playable cyberpunk world. NFT characters use in-game currency to level up, build, join guilds, and even commit DeFi exercises. ROT utilizes NFTs in every facet of the game, is full of P2E missions/quests, and also introduces players to DeFi mechanics as part of the gameplay. DeFi mechanics such as staking and liquidity pooling. SocialFi mechanics with Guilds. A DAO governance system, and an NFT lending system all of which integrate seamlessly into the game creating a user-friendly layer of blockchain beneath the skin of a cyberpunk realm.
Reign of Terror will feature a mix of On-Chain and Off-Chain items, and examples of the initial item types are listed below. The higher value items will be NFTs, and the lower value items will be off-chain; however, some of the Off-Chain Items could get converted into On-Chain NFTs over time, pending a vote by the DAO.

Reign of Terror takes place in an extremely stratified society where equality is an unknown concept, and the strong prey on the weak. The environment is sacrificed for the sake of profit. While those on top reap the benefits, those below receive no social support, creating the survival of the fittest society within vertical cities on a nearly ruined planet. In the Reign of Terror SocialFi Metaverse, players can form alliances and guilds to increase their investment and lending power, all while creating a squad from various classes and competing in epic PvE and PvP missions.
