The second-largest manufacturer of Bitcoin mining machines, Canaan Creative specialized in Bitcoin mining tools including blockchain servers and ASIC microprocessor solutions.
At Bitcoin 2022, the Senior Vice President of Canaan Inc Edward Lu shared the cryptocurrency mining corporation’s plans in his speech titled “Clean Energy: The New Revolution of Bitcoin Mining.”
Edward Lu’s objective for the mining firm is to undergo the construction of green energy standards for Bitcoin (BTC) mining. Lu believes that sustainable Bitcoin mining co-relates with our future.
“The key lies in the construction of advanced energy-efficient technologies and green mining infrastructure and continued increase in the proportion of renewable energy use.”
At the Conference, Edward Lu announced the launch of Canaan’s new bitcoin mining machine, Avalon 1266. This is the mining corporation’s first miner to achieve a hash rate of 100 terahashes per second.
Additionally, the energy efficiency of 35 joules per terahash earns the rank of the best-performing air-coolant miners. It can also be used to control heat management through immersion cooling. The new model is an updated version of Avalon 1246. The capacity of the former Bitcoin mining machine is 90 TH/s and 38 J/T efficiencies.
Moreover, Lu further discussed his plans to establish mining service centers globally so customers can achieve faster support. In concluding his speech, he states,
“The market is growing more and more professional now and with some other international key players coming into the market. I believe this market really has the potential to grow and develop further.”
